Starkweather receives research grants
Congratulations to Dr. Angela Starkweather, assistant professor in the VCU School of Nursing’s Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, on several recent awards.
She was selected as a 2010 Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS)/American Nurses Foundation Scholar. She also received a 2010 American Nurses Foundation grant for the proposal entitled Glial Activation and Depressive Symptoms in Patients with a Primary Malignant Brain Tumor.
In addition, Dr. Starkweather was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Oncology Nursing Society. Congratulations Dr. Starkweather on her many accomplishments.
