Lana Sargent, M.S.N., RN, FNP-C, GNP-BC, clinical instructor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, will be presenting “Exploring Teaching and Learning with the iPad” March 11 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. in Harris Hall 5182 on the Monroe Park Campus. VCU faculty and Staff are invited to join the conversation and learn about Sargent`s experiences while integrating iPads into her NURS 661 (Common Problems in Adult primary Care) course. The CTE iPad pilot project was inspired by the growing popularity of iPads among students and faculty and the increasing questions of the potential benefits to teaching and learning. The aim of the project is to provide opportunity for exploration, provide support for innovative teaching projects, as well as identify specific teaching practices that support student engagement. Space is limited, so please register here. For more information, contact Staylor Anamuah-Mensah at sanamuahmens@vcu.edu.
