Nurses Week 2020: Cydney James, traditional B.S. class of 2021
In celebration of Nurses Week 2020, VCU School of Nursing is sharing each day why students chose to become part of the most trusted profession on earth.
“I want to be a nurse because I have seen firsthand how selfless and devoted nurses are. Nurses are the ones at the patient’s bedside and who take the necessary steps in tending to the overall health for the patients. Additionally, nurses provide support to the families during the best and difficult times. I have a great deal of appreciation for all the things nurses do as well as all health care professionals.”
Cydney James, a native of Virginia Beach, is a student in the traditional B.S. class of 2021.
