VCU School of Nursing two-time alumna Cindy Munro appointed dean of nursing and health studies at the University of Miami
VCU School of Nursing alumna and former faculty member Cindy Munro, RN, ANP-BC, FAAN, FAANP, FAAAS (Ph.D.’92/N; Cert.’97/N), has been named the new dean at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies, effective Aug. 15, 2017.
A nationally known health care researcher and leader, Munro is currently associate dean of research and innovation at the University of South Florida (USF) College of Nursing. Prior to joining USF, Munro was one of four inaugural Nursing Alumni Endowed Professors at the VCU School of Nursing.
