As part of the VCU School of Nursing 2017 Lecture Series, Pamela H. Mitchell, Ph.D., RN, FAHA, FAAN, executive associate dean and professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems at the University of Washington School of Nursing, presented “Biobehavioral Nursing Research: Global Opportunities and Challenges” on May 23. Mitchell focused on the interactions among physiological, psychological and social components of health as well as evaluating challenges and identifying opportunities for biobehavioral nursing research worldwide.
