Deborah McGuire serves on Oncology Nursing Society panel
Deborah McGuire, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, associate dean for Research, Scholarship, and Innovation, served on a mock National Institutes of Health-style grant review panel for the Oncology Nursing Society’s Oncology Nurse Scientist Intensive on May 3. McGuire was one of four nationally competitively selected faculty members to serve on the panel. The faculty panel reviewed the grant applications of 10 early stage faculty and worked in small groups with the investigators to refine their proposals and make plans for submission to external sponsors.
