SON students receive Richard B. Caspari Nursing Student Scholarship Award
Traditional B.S. students Aaliyah Love, a junior, and Snigdha Menon, a sophomore, received the Richard B. Caspari Nursing Student Scholarship Award presented by the Richmond Chapter of the Association of the periOperative Registered Nurses at an awards ceremony on Oct. 14. The Richard B. Caspari Nursing Student Scholarship Award was established to honor Dr. Richard B. Caspari, a renowned orthopaedic surgeon in Richmond, Va., who always supported and encouraged nurses to seek their dreams. The one-time award is given to VCU nursing students with an interest in entering the field of perioperative nursing.
