Alumna Paula Saxby to receive VCU Volunteer Service Award
VCU School of Nursing alumna Paula Saxby (M.S.’85/N; Ph.D.’92/N), deputy executive director at the Virginia Board of Nursing, will be awarded the MCVAA Outstanding Alumnus Award at the 2016 VCU Alumni Volunteer Service Awards ceremony on Friday, Oct. 28.
The VCU Alumni Volunteer Service Awards, celebrated biennially, honor alumni who have worked with particular devotion to serve the VCU community. The MCVAA Outstanding Alumnus Award is awarded to a graduate of one of the health sciences schools who is nationally recognized and acknowledged by leaders in their chosen profession as having made distinguished contributions to the health care field.
