The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recently presented Stephanie Ferguson, Ph.D. RN, FAAN (M.S. ’87/N), international health care consultant, with the HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein Award in recognition of her dedication to nursing and significant contributions to health care across borders. The Award was presented at the 2014 ANCC National Magnet Conference in Dallas, Texas. Ferguson was selected for her many contributions over the years to the advancement of international nursing collaboration with ANCC. She is currently the director and facilitator of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Leadership for Change Program and the ICN-Burdett Global Nursing Leadership Institute. She is also a World Health Organization (WHO) consultant and a consulting associate professor for Stanford University.
