Debbie Shockey Presented at the APHON Conference
Debbie Shockey, D.N.P., RN, CPNP, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Health Nursing, presented a poster at the APHON conference in Louisville, Kentucky on Sept. 19. The poster, titled “Pre-procedural distress in children with cancer: An intervention using biofeedback and relaxation as resiliency enhancing tools,” is a summary of her work in this area. Victoria Menzies, Ph.D., RN, PMHCNS-BC, assistant professor in the Department of Adult Health and Nursing Systems, is one of the co-authors.
