Jeanne Walter Wins Presidential Research Incentive Program Award
Congratulations to Jeanne Walter, ( Ph.D. ’05) RN, FAAMA, assistant professor in the Family and Community Health Nursing Department, for winning a VCU Presidential Research Incentive Program (PRIP) award. Walter is co-investigator on a study along with Sarah Wilson McKay, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Department of Art Education in the VCU School of the Arts. Their research consists of an interprofessional education (IPE) grant to evaluate a model of IPE on observational and clinical reasoning skills with nursing students. This exciting program highlights the research connections and interdisciplinary scholarly potential between the School of the Arts and the School of Nursing.
