Nursing Faculty Honored at VCUHS Nurses Week Award Ceremony
VCU Nursing faculty were among the individuals honored this year at VCU Health System’s Nurses Week Awards. Mary Jo Grap, Ph.D., RN, ACNP, FAAN, Nursing Alumni Endowed Professor, was honored as part of the MRICU team that won an award for its mobility protocol. Dr. Grap’s recognition is a reflection of her longstanding commitment to and collaboration with the MRICU staff. Lauren Goodloe, N ’83, M.S. ’88, Ph.D. ’00 , RN, assistant dean for Clinical Operations and clinical associate professor, received the award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Goodloe works tirelessly on behalf of our students– creating possibilities, resolving challenges and always thinking about how clinical situations and opportunities can contribute to student learning.
