VCNP Accepts Student Poster Presentations for Annual Conference
A poster presentation by Angela Bataille, M.S., R.N., post masters FNP student, and Melissa Rooney, B.S., R.N., an adult health primary care NP student, has been accepted for the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP) 2012 Conference at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. The presentation is titled “Relationship between prealbumin levels and duration of intubation, ICU and hospital stay as a beginning investigation into factors that affect patient outcomes.” The 2012 Conference will take place March 8 – 11, 2012. Bataille and Rooney are both working as part of the NIH-funded study “Skin Integrity and BackRest Elevation,” led by Mary Jo Grap, Ph.D., R.N., ACNP, FAAN, Nursing Alumni Endowed Professor and director of the Administrative Core of the CBCR.
