Two School of Nursing Alumnae Earn Ph.D. Degrees
School of Nursing alumnae Patricia Kinser, M.S, B.S.N., R.N., WHNP-BC, and Hyung kung Choi, M.S., B.S., recently earned Ph.D. degrees in nursing from the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively. Kinser is currently an assistant professor at Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing. Choi works with Dr. Marcia Van Riper, Associate Professor & Chair, Family Health Division, at UNC’s School of Nursing.
Kinser earned an accelerated master’s degree in 2003 and Choi earned a traditional master’s degree in 2008 at the VCU School of Nursing.
