Nursing Instructor Amy Popovich Featured as one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40
Amy Popovich, R.N., an adjunct instructor for the School of Nursing, and Resource Center Supervisor at the Richmond City Health District, was recently named as one of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40. Popovich serves as a nurse and supervisor of the Richmond Health District’s community clinic program. The Style Weekly article highlighted her involvement in creating satellite clinics in four public housing developments–Whitcomb, Creighton, Mosby and Fairfield courts. Popovich, along with VCU nursing students, provide basic health care services one day per week at the clinics, as well as education on navigating the public health care system.
