Last week, Dr. Patricia Grady, director of the National Institute of Nursing Research, presented the MCV Alumni Association of VCU’s Mahoney-Hamner Nursing Alumni Lectureship. More than 75 alumni, students and faculty attended to event as Dr. Grady addressed Bringing Science to Life: Translational Interdisciplinary Research.
During her visit to the VCU, Dr. Grady also attended a luncheon with VCU School of Nursing researchers. She also spent time with doctoral students to discuss issues surrounding nursing research.
Mahoney-Hamner concludes the VCU School of Nursing’s 2009-2010 Lecture Series. Previous events include the Jackie Denise Jackson Memorial Cultural Diversity Lectureship and the Legacy Lectureship in Mental Health Nursing.
