Community Nursing Organization seeks support for upcoming Teen Summit
The VCU School of Nursing Community Nursing Organization is working with the Hayes E. Willis Health Center in Southside Richmond, Va. to sponsor a Tweens and Teen Summit. The event will be held on Aug. 28 at George Wythe High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Summit will provide a variety of educational and health topics of interest to adolescents’ success in school, career planning,and healthy behaviors. We are seeking school supplies which will be given to 100 youth participants.
If you would like to donate supplies or volunteer your time for this event, please contact Dr. Stephanie Ferguson at slferguson@ vcu.edu. A list of school supplies that are still needed are can be found in the document below.
