School of Nursing recognized for community service
The VCU School of Nursing has been selected as one of the 40 Acts of Caring. Part of VCU’s 40th anniversary celebration, 40 Acts of Caring recognizes the many service activities occurring across the University. In August, the School of Nursing’s Department of Family and Community Health Nursing co-sponsored back-to-school checkups at Richmond’s Fan Free Clinic. Students and faculty offered physical exams and immunizations and completed school entrance forms. More information on the School and 40 Acts of Caring is available on the University website.
