We had over 65 students attend our Accelerated Bachelors and Accelerated Masters Open House this last Thursday, February 15, 2007. Students from all over the country came to visit VCU and see what the School of Nursing had to offer. Student received an introduction from Dr. Janet Younger, Assoc. Dean for Academic Affairs; students were also greeted by Susan Lipp, Director of Enrollment and Student Services, and faculty member Ms. Tanya Huff. Additional information was shared regarding financial aid, housing, course registration and academic advising. The day concluded with a tour of our New School of Nursing building on Leigh Street, lead by current AB/AM students. Overall it was a exciting day and it was great getting to see so many smiling faces and knowing these students are the future of nursing.
To those of you that were here, thanks for visiting and we look forward to seeing you this May!

I am interested in your nursing programs. I would like to become a pediatric nurse someday soon. I plan to go to your school. I have enjoyed reading about your school and I hope to be there very soon.
