Sorensen Institute College Leaders Program
The Sorensen Institute’s College Leaders Program provides intensive training in state and local government, politics, leadership, and public service to students from across Virginia. The program is based on a firm belief that young people not only can make a positive difference in their communities, but that they should be strongly encouraged to do so. The CLP is held each summer on the grounds of University of Virginia, and will be open to approximately 25 students. The Sorensen network of graduates currently includes 22 members of the General Assembly in 2013, and countless other politically involved individuals from across the Commonwealth.
