Udall info session Nov 6 digital

Jeff Wing, Director of the National Scholarship Office, will be presenting on the Udall Scholarship at the Green Unity Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 8pm in the ASPiRE building (835 W. Grace St.), room 1004h.   The Udall Foundation seeks future leaders across a wide spectrum of environmental fields, including policy, engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, and economics.

In 2014, the Foundation expects to award 50 scholarships of up to $5000 and 50 honorable mentions of $350 to sophomore and junior level college students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. To apply, applicants should be matriculated sophomore or junior-level students at a two-year or four-year accredited institution of higher education, pursuing a bachelor’s or associate’s degree during the 2013-2014 academic year and committed to a career related to the environment, OR committed to a career in tribal public policy OR Native American health care.
