Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) Information Session
Attention students interested in traveling to Korea. Denise Dicks of the National Scholarship Office and Hannah Hahn of the Global Education Office will host an information session for the Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) Program on Wednesday, March 20 at 3pm in room 1210 at The Honors College. This program offers six-month and one-year placements to teach English to Korean students while experiencing life in Korea. The program is sponsored by the South Korean government and is designed to support public English education in the rural areas of Korea.
Participants are provided with health insurance, accommodations, round-trip airfare, cultural field trips, a monthly stipend, and a four-week orientation process. Duties include teaching English in after-school courses at elementary schools, as well as preparing lesson plans and activities for English education.
