The attentiveness and eagerness to learn from professionals in the field is our north star in providing cybersecurity education. Nearly 200 students completed the academy this week with the help of VCU’s College of Engineering. Throughout this month-long educational initiative, students from VCU, the University of Richmond, and Virginia Union University learned about cybersecurity and law enforcement from FBI field professionals.

Prof. Milos Manic inducted on June 26, 2023, into the United States National Academy of Inventors (NAI) as a Senior Member, Class 2023, at the NAI’s 12th Annual Meeting that was held in Washington, D.C. A medal and a plaque were awarded during the Senior Member Induction Ceremony, presided by Dr. Paul R. Sanberg, President of NAI and Derrick Brent, Deputy Director of USPTO. NAI Senior Members are awarded for success in patents, licensing, commercialization, and technologies that bring real impact on the welfare of society.
