Anna & Shey from The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast
Using VoiceThread for Teacher Professional Development and Language Learning – February 25 at 1:00pm ET. – Register
Anna and Shey are the co-hosts of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, a podcast for reflective practice for teachers of English around the world. Between the two of them, they bring 30 years of experience in English language teaching, international education, and teacher development to the table. In this workshop, they will showcase some of their VoiceThreads and discuss their pedagogical approach to teaching languages and using VoiceThread for professional development.
VoiceThread Basics 1: Upload, Comment, and Share – March 4 at 1:00pm ET – Register
In this workshop, you will create a VoiceThread. Participants will learn how to upload media, comment and annotate on that media, and share it with others. This will be a slow paced, step-by-step, hands-on workshop. It is open to both VoiceThread license holders and free accounts.
VoiceThread Basics 2: Groups and Secure Sharing – March 11 at 1:00pm ET – Register
This is a hands-on workshop. We will begin to explore the features available to VoiceThreaders with a full license. Participants will learn how to create groups and subgroups, set sharing permissions within those groups, and privately share VoiceThreads with individuals.
VoiceThread Basics 3: Moderating comments, private and threaded replies, and copying – March 18 at 1:00pm ET – Register
In our third hands-on workshop in the series, participants will learn how to give private feedback, use threaded commenting, copy VoiceThreads for use with multiple groups, and use comment moderation to formatively assess student work.
