Teaching with Canvas at VCU Sessions Available!
Hosted by Academic Technologies, in partnership with the CTLE and ALTLab, this 1.5-hour online training session will demonstrate how to get started with Canvas. Instructors will learn how to use the basic features to get their course up and running in Canvas. Each session is the same, so select the one that best fits your schedule. Representatives from VCU’s ALTLab will be available to answer questions, as well as the Learning Systems’ support team.
Training schedules are posted on the VCU Canvas website, along with self-paced training and other resources. Be sure you are logged into Google with your VCU credentials and submit this Google Form to register for the free training. Please email any questions to canvas@vcu.edu.
Reminders: VCU’s Blackboard system will be retired on June 30, 2021, and all courses will be using Canvas by that date. Additional training and resources will be added to our website throughout the transition. How-to’s and other instructions will be posted in the TS askIT knowledge base.
