Blackboard Voice Tools Maintenance March 3rd
We have been notified by Blackboard of the following planned upgrade for Wimba Voice:
The Wimba Voice server will be unavailable on Sunday, March 3, 2012 from 10:00pm until 8:00am on Monday, March 4th. Please note that our Blackboard system will be available, only the Wimba Voice Tools are affected by this downtime.
This upgrade includes the new version of Blackboard Collaborate Voice Authoring, previously known as Blackboard Voice or Wimba Voice. The upgrade also introduces new Blackboard Collaborate branding that includes changes in terminology (Blackboard Collaborate replaces Wimba) and changes to the color theme.
A new (security) certificate is also included in this upgrade, which all users will be required to accept after they launch the Voice Tools the first time after the upgrade. Overall Blackboard Collaborate voice authoring functionality will not change.
