Put Some Tech in Your T&L

We have been notified by Blackboard of the following planned upgrade for Wimba Voice:
The Wimba Voice server will be unavailable on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 1:00am until 6:00am. This upgrade includes server-side updates, as well as client-side (end user) updates, such as enhanced components for audio, and improved stability and security. Some fixes included are increased session time out, corrected display of sorted and filtered posts, and correction of voice board export failures.

There are no visible changes to the overall Voice interface. However, there are some changes needed to the files installed on the end user’s computer, which requires that you run the setup wizard after the upgrade, at least 24 hours before your next Wimba Voice session.

You can access the setup wizard on our Wimba Voice server once it has been upgraded at: http://blackboardvcu.wimba.com/blackboardvcu/wizard/launcher.jsp?show=wizard.frames
