VCU Early Science Education Research Lab
The VCU Early Science Education Research Lab conducts quantitative and qualitative research to advance STEM educational instruction and inform public policy. Our research lab is dedicated to understanding early motivation, interest, and formal and informal educational experiences that influence scientific literacy, science achievement, and persistence in science-related career fields. This research is especially focused on underrepresented groups in STEM.

Our lab is always looking for intelligent and motivated Masters students interested in gaining research experience in graduate school and/or in preparation for professional teaching. Masters research interns have the opportunity to work on a variety of our current projects.
