Certified Clinical Research Professional Exam and Preparation Sessions
Are you interested in becoming a Certified Clinical Research Professional?
VCU’s Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) is hosting The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) certification exam again this spring. The exam will be held on April 3, from 12 Noon to 4 P. M. on the medical campus.
If you are interested in joining the CRS educational program you will need to complete two (2) registrations:
- Register for the SoCRA exam as soon as possible: www.socra.org
- Exam will be held on the VCU medical campus April 3, 2015, 12 noon – 4 pm
- Study materials (SoCRA book) will be sent following SoCRA exam registration and is required for the CRS preparatory program
- Register to take the VCU CRS/CCTR educational program by contacting Lou Usry at [email protected]registration deadline is January 22, 2015.
- Only those registered for the SoCRA exam (and have the SoCRA book) will be accepted to the CRS program
In preparation for the SOCRA certification exam, Clinical Research Service (CRS) is offering an educational program designed specifically for material covered on the SoCRA exam. The preparatory session will be held on the VCU medical campus and will include six (6) weeks of weekly tutorial discussions of the FDA, HHS regulations and Good Clinical Practice guidelines followed by a two day review boot camp held March 26th and 27th. The six (6) weekly sessions will be held on Thursdays from 6PM-8PM beginning on February 12, 2015. Following completion of the weekly tutorial discussion sessions, there will be a two (2) day “Review Boot-Camp targeted specifically for necessary information pertinent for the SOCRA certification exam.
