What’s New at VCU for Faculty Held IND/IDE’s?
All research staff including clinical investigators, coordinators, and administrative staff that work on VCU/VCUHS faculty-held INDs/IDEs are invited to attend an information session on Wednesday, July 23, Noon – 1 p.m. in the Critical Care Hospital, 1st Floor, Room 304.
Dr. Betsy Ripley, VCU’s Clinical Research Compliance Officer (CRCO), will discuss policies, procedures, and the availability of assistance for locally-held INDs and IDEs (ie Faculty Sponsor’s of an IND or IDE not working on an Industry held IND or IDE study).
Topics will include:
- New Website with resources including templates and FDA links.
- New requirements for reporting IND and IDEs to the CRCO.
- New requirements for certification of the Sponsor and certification to conduct a multisite IND/IDE study under a VCU/VCUHS faculty-held IND or IDE.
