A final disbursement of $8.8 million completes the $17.8 million grant awarded by the Department of Defense (DoD) to Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) Convergence Lab Initiative (CLI). A study from Elsevier BV, based at Stanford University, finds 20 Virginia Commonwealth University College of Engineering faculty are in the world's top 2% of most-cited researchers in 2023. This represents 23% of VCU Engineering faculty being recognized among the most influential researchers in their respective fields.
