College of Engineering faculty among world’s most-cited researchers, according to Stanford University study

A study from Elsevier BV, based at Stanford University, finds 20 Virginia Commonwealth University College of Engineering faculty are in the world's top 2% of most-cited researchers in 2023. This represents 23% of VCU Engineering faculty being recognized among the most influential researchers in their respective fields.

Students gain valuable experience working with faculty and researchers with the College of Engineering’s summer REU program.

Funded by the National Science Foundation, the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program gives students the opportunity to do industry standard research in their field of interest.
