VCU named National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Research
The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have named Virginia Commonwealth University a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Research. The CAE program promotes higher education and research in cyber defense to reduce vulnerability in the national information infrastructure.
Computer science professor named Commonwealth Cyber Initiative Fellow
The Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) has named Milos Manic, Ph.D., a CCI Fellow for 2020-2022. Manic is a professor of computer science in the VCU College of Engineering and director of VCU’s Cybersecurity Center.
