New ranking by the National Academy of Inventors is a reflection of VCU’s excellence in innovation and research.

Recently, VCU Engineering, Alteryx and Bank of America teamed up to pave the way for approximately 45 high school students to take part in a virtual escape room as a part of the Supporting Tech Achievement for Richmond Students (STARS) Summer Challenge.

Last summer, Richmond Community High School student Inayah O’Neil won best presentation during the ‘STARS’ Summer Challenge. This summer, not only is she a peer mentor for the program, but an incoming freshman with VCU’s College of Engineering.

This summer, NASA brought its Student Airborne Research Program to the East Coast for the first time with the help of Virginia Commonwealth University faculty and the team at VCU’s Rice Rivers Center.

Azim Eskandarian, D.Sc., has been named Alice T. and William H. Goodwin Jr. Dean of the VCU College of Engineering, effective Aug. 1.

Graduate students are integral to VCU Engineering. They advance the College’s research objectives while also helping to educate our undergraduate students.
