Stanford University study places College of Engineering faculty among world’s most-cited researchers

Stanford University and analytics firm Elsevier have released their 2025 Stanford Elsevier Top Scientists List. The rankings include 11 Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) College of Engineering researchers who are among the most cited researchers of their respective fields. Based on credentials such as citation metrics and co-authorship, the top 2% are identified in this list.
Virginia Commonwealth University’s presence on the list reflects the university’s progressive approach in research, demonstrating VCU’s dedication toward expanding the scope of knowledge for the greater good of society.
