Lyndon F. Cooper | School of Dentistry

On Saturday February 4, the VCU Student National Dental Association (SNDA) hosted an Impressions Program. The purpose of this program was to help increase the number of under-represented minorities in dentistry. The day was filled with seminars and activities for the undergraduate participants. The activities included mock interviews, operative simulations, and a dental hygiene/student panel. There were dental faculty and staff, and other practitioners on hand to help out with the mock interviews.

I would like to thank Collin Rice, from the VCU SNDA for organizing this important event. Thanks to all of you who participated and made this day successful.  The program was put on by the members of the Student National Dental Association, which consists of dental students and dental hygiene students.
