New year changes for DAR team members
Bryan Heinitz has joined the School of Medicine as assistant to the director of development in the Department of Psychiatry. Bryan received his bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University in arts administration. His most recent tenure was at St. Joseph’s Villa, a local nonprofit that serves children and their families with various mental health diagnoses.
Amy Lane, Ph.D., will assume the role of associate dean for development for the School of Medicine in an interim capacity. Amy has served as director of major gifts for the school since 2010 and has been with VCU since 2004.
Amanda Lynch left her position as leadership annual giving officer in the School of Nursing on Jan. 17. She joined the nursing school development staff in 2015. Amanda plans to stay home with her new baby, Catherine.
Tom Maness, M.P.A., is the new associate vice president of development for the MCV Campus. Tom has served in the role in an interim capacity since May 2018 and as associate dean for development for the VCU School of Medicine since January 2018.
Latryce Noel is the assistant director of alumni marketing and communications effective today. Latryce comes from Virginia State University, where she served as a public relations and marketing specialist for the past eight years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s in media management and public relations from Virginia State.
Priscilla Wiggin will serve as interim director of major gifts for the School of Medicine. Priscilla joined the school in 2015 and after serving as assistant director of leadership annual giving at VCU Massey Cancer Center. In her extended role, Priscilla will also oversee other recruitments that are underway on the medical school’s major gifts team.
