Dr. Caroline Cobb (PI)
Caroline’s program of research generally addresses the role of novel and alternative tobacco products (e.g., hookah/waterpipe tobacco, little cigars/cigarillos, and electronic cigarettes) in the incidence of tobacco-related disease and death as well as the broader implications of the availability of these products for policy and public health. Her current work is particularly focused on measuring predictors of tobacco product abuse liability and poly-substance use patterns (including cannabis). In her spare time, Caroline is an avid Crossfitter and patron of bakeries in her Church Hill neighborhood. She has three children: two daughters ~ Samantha and Louise and hound dog ~ Gracie.
