Top Hat on Campus Training
With the fall semester rapidly approaching, VCU Academic Technologies wants to make you aware of an opportunity for faculty to learn about using Top Hat in their classrooms. A Top Hat representative will be onsite August 20-22 to provide training for faculty. There are basic, advanced and Q&A sessions scheduled for all three days, to be held on both the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Please consider attending one or more of these sessions and be sure to bring your questions! Session details and registration information is provided below. If you are unable to commit at this time but are interested in attending, please let contact Jana Avery (jcavery@vcu.edu) and we will try to accommodate your schedule.
We want to customize these three days to best meet the needs of VCU faculty and would like to offer additional training sessions or meetings dedicated to departments/schools, on either campus. If you and your colleagues are interested in meeting with our Top Hat representative for training, discussions, or other information gatherings, please email Jana Avery (jcavery@vcu.edu) with a day and time, and a general description of what you need (i.e. formal training for 20 people in TAB 108, open Q&A for 10 people at SON room 360, etc.). If possible, please send this information by August 10th so we can finalize the details.

Synchronize the class roster and grades with VCU’s eLearning system (Blackboard).

Top Hat Q&A for Faculty –
Question and answer session exclusively for VCU faculty. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and participate in open discussions about the use of Top Hat to enhance classroom teaching and learning.
