Broad Street Mile
The 2015 VCU Broad Street Mile: Festival, 5K and Fun Run is Saturday, October 17th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. between Belvidere Street and Hermitage Road.
The 2015 VCU Broad Street Mile offers fun and entertainment for the entire family. From the little ones to you and your VCU student — and even the grandparents — everyone will have fun at this annual VCU event.
The VCU Broad Street Mile combines a festival, 5K, and fun-runs all along the city’s main thoroughfare, Broad Street. The festival will feature local talent, food trucks, live music, and much more. The first race, the VCU 5K, is even better this year with a new course, allowing runners the ability to see more of VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Following the VCU 5K are five themed runs — Kids Mile, No Limit Mile, Seniors Mile, Doggy Dash, and Spirit Mile.
This year, we have made it even easier to register to run as an individual or create a team. Crowdrise, the event fundraising platform, allows you to track your fundraising and view other teams and community partners. With the Team Leaderboard, you can see which teams are in the top slots to give your group an extra push toward the finish line.
