Beginning June 1, 2022, VCU’s Enterprise License agreement will include full access to Adobe\u2019s Creative Cloud suite for all VCU students enrolled in at least one credit-bearing course<\/strong>. VCU employees and affiliates who are enrolled as students are also eligible. A discounted rate is available for VCU employees and departments, allowing instructors to enhance and deliver engaging and motivating courses, making the learning experience more impactful for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Creative Cloud Enterprise license provides access to the full range of creative apps for digital imaging, design, web, and video. The latest updates, new features, apps, and services are available as soon as they are released! Let your imagination and innovation come together to create inspiring projects for the classroom and beyond with the Adobe Creative Cloud collection of applications for creating and editing video, audio, visual effects, and animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, after obtaining an Enterprise Licensing agreement for Adobe Creative Cloud, VCU became the first school in Virginia to earn the designation of an Adobe Creative Campus, significantly reducing the license costs to students and employees. This introduced an opportunity to reimagine a learner experience that is accessible, engaging, and delivers real educational value for students. Virginia Commonwealth University would like to invite any students from US Institutions to participate in their annual HealthHacks<\/a> event November 6-7. HealthHacks<\/strong> is a 24-hour sprint of intense innovation and problem solving focused on unmet medical needs. Participants address challenges through teamwork, solution ideation, programming, rapid prototyping, developing flow processes, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While one of only a few medical hackathons in the U.S., HealthHacks<\/strong> is rare by focusing predominantly on medical device product innovation. Interdisciplinary teams of students with backgrounds in engineering, business, and science are encouraged to think of their own solutions and develop projects with the potential to succeed in the market. Most sessions will be offered both in-person and remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s theme is Reimagining Medical Education: Physical Technologies, Software Design, and Products. <\/strong>As a sponsor of the event, Adobe<\/strong> has invited Vincent Fu to speak on our behalf Saturday afternoon at 3pm ET. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
