Feedback Opportunity: Campus Expression Policy
Dear members of the VCU community:
As part of its commitment to fostering an environment conducive to civil discourse, VCU implemented three new interim policies in August of 2024. In that announcement, VCU shared that there would be a public comment period to allow members of the community to provide feedback about the interim policies prior to any permanent changes being implemented. These policies are now entering the formal process to be made permanent.
The public comment period, which is required to be open for 10 business days, is now open. To ensure maximum participation in this process, VCU will have the comment period open 25 business days, closing on February 28.
Comments are welcome about the following draft policies:
You can provide feedback by visiting the VCU Policies Website and clicking on “Policies Open for Public Comment.” The draft policies will be listed. Once you open a policy a link will be in the policy document. This link will take you to the comment form. Each policy utilizes a different form. Please make sure you use the form linked to the specific policy you wish to comment on.
VCU is required to consider all feedback. We anticipate a high volume of comments and may not be able to respond to each one.
