News and information beyond the classroom

The Health Promotion and Well-Being Center are providing care kits for students living in on-campus housing who are in isolation or quarantine. The hope is that these supplies and the additional resources offered will assist students in finding ways to Keep on Being Well.

The supplies in the care kit include art materials, journaling activities, and some hot tea. Students are encouraged to utilize them to help find fun ways to unplug, de-stress, and engage in some needed self-care. There are also many programs and services still available for students to access while they are in isolation or quarantine.

“We wanted to let students who needed to isolate or quarantine know that they aren’t alone,” said Trisha Saunders, M.Ed., NCC, Associate Director, Health Promotion and Well-Being Center. “Their Ramily is with them and rooting for them.”
