News and information beyond the classroom

Dear Graduating Student:

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from VCU. I know that you and your family are very excited about completing your academic program and moving forward to your next endeavour. I wish you the best of luck!

As you celebrate this special occasion with family and friends, I wanted to send a brief reminder that all COVID restrictions are still in place while you are a VCU student, which includes any indoors or outdoors gatherings. The public health measures page highlights the resources provided as well as the measures in place to keep the VCU community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The university will hold students accountable for possible violations of COVID guidelines.

Students are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and VCU continues to work with the Virginia Department of Health to confirm vaccine supply for on-campus vaccination clinics. To attend an on-campus clinic, sign up here to receive an email from Vaccination Clinics (no-reply@multistatep4p.com) when it is time to schedule your appointment.

Congratulations again on your achievements!

Best,

Reuban B. Rodriguez, Ed.D.
Associate Vice Provost and Dean of Students
