Unlocking Potential: VCU’s Campaign for the Future public launch, September 2025
On Sept. 18, 2025, VCU and VCU Health kicked off Unlocking Potential: VCU’s Campaign for the Future, a record-breaking $1.838 billion initiative, the most significant fundraising effort in the enterprise’s history. Several members of the Staff Senate Executive Team were honored to attend this event. Students from the Black Awakening Choir and Musical Theater performed, and several students who were recipients of scholarships were highlighted. We learned about amazing strides in health and innovation in patient care, were amazed by the amount of money that was already been raised to support our students and interacted with great projects from departments across VCU.
