As you begin your day this morning with heavy hearts, I join you in grief for our neighbors at UVA. I am grateful for our community and the confidence I have that we will support each other. Statement from VCU President Rao
To our VCU community:
I know you join me in sending our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by yesterday’s shooting at the University of Virginia. VCU has offered our assistance to the UVA community and we stand with them during this terrible time.
I have directed that VCU Police have an increased presence on our campus. We are dedicated to promoting a safe and secure environment for learning, living, working and visiting.
