Meet the newest addition to the school’s team
The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work is pleased to announce the newest addition to the school’s administrative team. Loren Hatcher has joined the school as the Senior Director of Development.
Hatcher comes to VCU with over 15 years of effective development and planning experience with non-profit and higher education organizations. She brings a drive to help others channel their passions into positive philanthropy. Most recently, Loren worked with Virginia’s Secretary of Education and former First Lady of Virginia, Anne Holton, as the director of development for the Great Expectations. In that capacity, she raised funds to lead the successful Building The Bond fundraising and awareness tour.
Hatcher received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Longwood University and was recipient of the Virginia Association of Fundraising Executives’ 2007 Rising Star Award.
