ATTENTION, ALUMS: Save the dates! April 23-25 marks Reunion Weekend 2010.
The class of 1960 will celebrate its golden anniversary (where were you in 1960?), and plenty of great events are in store for School of Pharmacy alumni. Such as …
- The Student/Alumni Golf Tournament hosted by Kappa Psi pharmaceutical fraternity. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 23
- The Class of 1960 50th Reunion Dinner. 6-10 p.m. April 23
- The Fourth Annual Warren Weaver Continuing Education Lectureship, featuring David Creecy V (B.S. ’77) on “Helping Patients Manage Pain.” 9-11 a.m. April 24
- Student-led Tours of R. Blackwell Smith Jr. Building, currently being renovated. 9-11 a.m. April 24
- All School of Pharmacy Alumni Award Reception, honoring 1980 graduates Nancy and Ron McFarlane with the Distinguished Pharmacy Alumni Award and Tommy Thompson with the Pharmacy Service Alumnus Award. 6-8 p.m. April 24
In addition, the MCV Alumni Association has all kinds of plans to entertain and inform alumni April 23-24, including a River District Historic Canal Cruise, Richmond Landmarks Segway Tours, Blind Comparative Wine Tastings, Alumni Cooking Demos, an MCV Campus History and Garden Tour, ballroom dancing lessons and more. And don’t forget the 50-Year Memorial Service and 50-Year Grand Alumni Society Induction Brunch, both on April 25.
The most important component to Reunion Weekend? That would be YOU. This is your chance to reminisce, relax and reunite with former classmates, meet current students, perhaps even see your favorite professor.
Remember, all roads lead to Richmond April 23-25. Details are available by clicking here. And if you’re ready to register, please click here.
