Pepperoni and research: the perfect combo
Summer Research Fellowships offer a rare opportunity for students interested in research. Students who are selected to participate receive a stipend and are encouraged to discuss their research areas with faculty from the Departments of Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science.
For about five years, the Summer Pizza Lunch Series has highlighted students’ research with hourlong programs featuring their presentations and – of course! – pizza.
This year, the pizza lunches began June 29 and will end Aug. 3. Following are the students who conducted research this summer, as well as the names of their summer advisors:
