School of Pharmacy in transition …
The new year has brought with it several arrivals, a departure and a few new titles. Welcome, farewell and/or congratulations!
- Several transitions to report in the Center for Biomarker Research and Personalized Medicine:
Daniel Adkins, formerly a postdoctoral fellow, has been named assistant professor.
Shaunna Clark has been hired as a postdoctoral fellow.
Linying Xie has been hired as a senior lab technician. - Michael Bentley, formerly an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science, is a clinical pharmacy specialist (critical care) for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke.
- Cristy Davis, office services assistant, is now a fulltime classified employee. She works with several departments in the School of Pharmacy as well as with the School of Medicine’s Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
- Laura Morgan, assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science, has been named director of the Foundations Lab.
- Lucas Servera has been hired as an educational technologies analyst on the Inova Campus.
